About

Meet Our Founder

I’m Tim Day, founder of Tim Day Construction.

I’ve been building houses for nearly 25 years, and for the last 20, I’ve been running TDC, learning, adapting, and fine-tuning what it means to build well. This hands-on experience, combined with a loyal team of skilled builders, allows us to deliver bespoke projects that go far beyond expectations.

From beautiful one-off homes to larger-scale commercial builds, we handle projects of all shapes and sizes. We have experience in Veterinary practices Based just outside Canterbury, we work across Kent, including Whitstable, Faversham, Herne Bay, and the surrounding areas.

We’re proud to be a company that’s big enough to manage £1m+ contracts, but small enough to care about the details. I personally take pride in making life easier for everyone on the project team, whether that’s an architect needing clear communication, or a PA chasing valuation paperwork that’s always quick, accurate, and hassle-free.

We’re not just here to get the job done, we’re here to make the whole experience enjoyable. No hidden costs, no stressful delays, just quality builds delivered by a team of friendly professionals. The kind of people you’ll want to celebrate with when the project is complete and recommend to anyone who’ll listen!
