Riverside Social, Canterbury

The Riverside Social, a restaurant owned by the Lancaster Restaurant Group, was an ambitious three-month project which transformed a 4,800-square-foot empty council-owned unit into a dynamic food and social hub.

TDC coordinated HVAC installation with heating/air conditioning throughout, and comprehensive electrical work.

Stud walls were built and prepped, raised flooring was installed, and interior spaces were finished to the highest standard. The project saw four unique food stalls built, each tailored to accommodate different culinary concepts, with separate fully functional kitchens to meet diverse operational needs.

The middle signature bar was constructed with custom steel framing for an industrial, yet inviting aesthetic, designed with big metal frames above to showcase bottles/ glasses.

The team also managed and coordinated all trades throughout the project, ensuring a smooth workflow and on-time delivery. The project was signed off with no snags.
